If there was just one, one to take back, it'd be you.
My first love and my first move.
You taught me to play my pawns in the perfect formation.
Dodging the Queen ever way we could.
However, she made me feel like just that.
I was a pawn. Neither a Knight of glory nor a Bishop of rule.
But you, you were the jester that brought a smile to this pawn's face.
You were my Princess and I your Prince.
I felt deemed to be your savior from the wicked Queen.
She struck you, leaving bruises on your wrists.
But, you could never leave. Leave what you had made. Leave what you knew.
You tried once, but I was not there to catch you and keep you.
I was not meant to save you.
Our journey had been wearisome and treacherous, but as much as I wanted to,
I was not meant to save you.
Our love dyed along with your hair.
The blonde turned black over night.
The phone stopped ringing and the letters stopped coming.
Even the postal service knew something was wrong.
I've been in prayer for you since then.
You're different now. You're more like her.
Your face tattooed on his arm in exchange for a ring.
I guess what you're wanting is what you're getting.
It seems as though you believed mother knew best.
The love was once so strong that our roots could break the ground like
Any hammer swung by the arms of John Henry himself.
But, you let the machine win didn't you?
"Was my kiss too weak?
Were your eyes too tired?
And much too young to be in love?
Much too young to be in love?"
If there was just one, one to take back, it'd be you.
But, you're not here.
The one I loved died years ago.
She's nowhere to be found among the black.

What a coincidence!
Would you say that you believe in coincidences? Perhaps fate? I can't say that I do. It is, and will always be, divine intervention for this guy. Today I sent a facebook message of encouragement to someone that I rarely see anymore. It was just something that I felt I should do. Surely enough, they responded by asking if what I had said was a chain note or another of the like. They found it amazing that I had sent them what I did, simply due to the fact that Monday hadn't really gotten underway and things were already tough on them. Also, I get a text message before American Lit from a friend asking me if it would be a good idea to skip or not. I told him that we had a quiz, but his sickness still kept him from class. I told him that I would do what I could for him. This professor doesn't allow make-ups for quizzes. As soon I walk into class I see it. On the board was written, "Take home quiz." You can't tell me that God isn't good. It doesn't matter if he's curing diseases or making a quiz "take home," His blessings are evident and I want, more than anything, to be a part of them.
Psalms 139:1-4
1 O LORD, you have searched me and you know me. 2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. 3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. 4 Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD.
1 John 3:19-20
19This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence 20whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.
PS. The Ultimate Ministry has a location!!! I believe it's getting close to time to find others willing to participate. God is so good!

What does huck, bid, pour, and praise mean?
Hi,
My name is Myles and I have a problem...I never thought I would be a blogger. If it's your first time to see this page or you haven't met me before, then allow me to enlighten you a little about myself; I'm going to be a clinical psychologist "when I grow up," I love the LSU tigers, I have a crazy obsession with The Flash of DC Comics, my favorite sport is Ultimate Frisbee, and most importantly, I live for a God who sent His only son to die for me so that I may inherit eternal life with Him. Now, to explain my title. A "huck" is a bomb, or a really long throw. A "bid" is an amazingly awesome attempt at catching a disc. This is pretty much any catch that looks awesome or a catch made anytime someone sacrifices their body. So, when I say to huck and bid, I mean to go all out and do things that may not be the most comfortable thing. I've spent the last three years of college organizing games of Ultimate for fun, but also for fellowship. At my school, there tend to be a lot of separation in respect to cliques and crowds. Ultimate was a way for me to bring together very diverse groups of people under one banner; the passion for the game. I consider Ultimate my ministry. I hope to take it with me on missions throughout my home state or possibly the world, God willing. That is why my page is titled "Huck, bid, pour, and praise." Be a blessing to someone this day.

So,
I'm gonna try this stuff out and see what happens. I don't know if anyone will ever read these, but to begin...this is a test. I repeat, this is ONLY a test.
